Need your computer fixed? Find a local mom and pop organization. They will actually give a crap about your computer being fixed the right way. Under no circumstances should you call the Geek Squad or Firedog. They are trained extortionists, and should be avoided at all costs! You will probably save half your money too. Consider yourselves warned.

Remote Administration

So you are a close family member/friend and want me to fix your computer? Start here:
1. Install Hamachi

  1. When running setup, use defaults except for the "Commercial vs. Non-commercial" page. At this page, select "Use Hamachi with the non-commercial license"
  2. Once you are up and running, click the power button @ the lower left hand corner and choose a nickname that will let me clearly identify you
  3. Click the triangle-shaped button second from the bottom-right and choose "Join network"->"danbillings"
  4. Email me for the password
2. Install VNC Server
  1. Run Start->Programs->UltraVNC->UltraVNC Server
  2. At the admin page, type "baki222" in the "VNC Password" field under the "Authentication" section
3. Call me.
